Remembering the Dream

Martin Luther King Jr. -- a Christian preacher-- had a dream of a diverse United States where little black children and little white children could live together. I believe this dream he spoke of wasn't just his personal hope for the future, but it was inspired by God's love.

We've made lots of progress as a nation, but there's still more to do. It's up to us as individuals to have open and honest conversations about race, discrimination and injustice if we are to truly stop the sin of racism. We have to have these conversations with love, patience, and tolerance because there are some out there who will not get it, or who don't want to change. But the effort is worth it if it means creating a more just world for future black, white, and brown children everywhere.
