Jacket Weather
This summer's been pretty disappointing. Here in the Baltimore area, it's been the wettest on record.
Sure there was a brief heat wave... but that's not hot enough for this bronze beauty. I want to feel like I'm BAKING in the sunshine!
Anyway all the rain has brought temperatures down low enough to want to cover your arms, but not cold enough to put on a coat.

Fashion for Pattern Lovers
I am a sucker for patterns. Plaid, dots, floral-- I love it all.
Last year I was walking through a flea market, and I caught a glimpse of a dress with a boom box pattern. It was really nice, but the dress had a $50 price tag and that wasn't in my budget for the day.
That's was the first time I had a heard of Lularoe. LOL!

The exciting thing about shopping second-hand is you never know what you will find. This vintage Lilly Pulitzer maxi skirt was a find.
The floral fabric with its white embroidery jumped out at me while shopping the Women's Board of John Hopkins Hospital's Best Dress Sale (BTW if you live in, near or visit Baltimore, you should check out this sale.) I decided to try it on when I saw it was a Lilly Pulitzer piece. With a little altering, this skirt has become my favorite ....
