I visited Luray, Virginia this weekend, and the flowers at the garden maze were just beautiful. In world where Covid is still rampant, wildfires are raging and gun violence is hitting close to home, it's great to stop and smell the roses, gardenias, or peonies.
It was calming to just stare at the bloom. Later out of curiosity, I searched for Bible verses about flowers and found this gem of a scripture:
“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 28 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!" -Luke 12:27, 28
