These tips and tricks will help you get the best price on Poshmark.
I’ve fallen in love with Poshmark since I started selling my clothes there two months ago. Shameless plug: I sell new and gently used clothes and jewelry I find at thrift stores and second hand sales. There's also a few new-with-tags items My closet is @lives_joyfully on Poshmark.
Not only is it a great place to sell things, you can find almost anything you’ve thought of buying full price at stores. So why is Poshmark better than the mall? Because the shopping website is
designed to help shoppers get a deal. You just have
to know how to ask.
This is a good trick if you're looking for a specific brand purse, iPhone case or whatever.
The search bar is at the top of the Feeds page. Once you have several listings pulled up, you can compare prices and find something in your price range.
Trick 2: Haggle for the Price You Want.
All Poshmark listings have an “Offer” button. Click on it and type in the price you’re willing to pay. Some sellers may flat out reject your offer, but most are willing to counter. There’s no limit to the number of times you can counter on an item as long as the seller is willing to play ball.
Once you get to a price you like, click buy.
Trick 3: Make an offer based on previous sale prices
Don’t know what to offer? Go back to the search option on the feed page and filter your search by “Availability” “Sold Items.”
Once you see how much your preferred item sold for in the past, you can come up with a reasonable offer for a seller.
Trick 4: Make a bundle
If there is more than one thing you like in a seller’s closet, you
can bundle those items together and ask for a discount.
Trick 5: Ask for Reduced or Free Shipping
Poshmark allows customers
to talk to sellers once they create a bundle. In the comment section you can
ask a seller to give you reduced or free shipping as part of the deal.
Happy shopping!
