The red carpet — as outrageous as the fashion may be—is the perfect place to look for ideas on how to fresh up your wardrobes.
The 2021 Met Gala was pulsing with fashion creativity. Here’s a few trends I think can easily be incorporate to your fall/ winter style.
CREATIVE DENIM
Now those go-to trend of skinny jeans with anything is dead, bows the time to experiment with straight legs, bell bottoms, mom jeans— let imagination be your guide.
CHUNKY BLACK BOOTS
Whether their combat, grunge Doc Martins or platform, black ankle boots are in, in, in.
CLASSY BEANIE
Rihanna showed us how to elevate your winter beanie with bling and delicate lace.
BLAZERS
If you read my last post, you know that oversized blazers have a huge place in my closet and in my heart this season. You can’t go wrong with add one to your outfit as a jacket, a dress or an accessory.
SWEATSHIRTS
More people are out of their self-isolation and back to back-to-school and work and travel. But we won’t soon forget —or abandon—the comfort we felt sitting on our couches in our sweats. So much so that we’re bringing sweatshirts into the workplace and social spaces with a few modifications of course. Like they don't stains on them and they're paired dress pants.
QUILTED FASHION
Here’s another fashion trend born out of comfort. It’s also a sign how more people are embrace sustainable fashion and repurposing clothes that would have once piled up at landfills.
